Mark Greener
Abstract:Unlike many other malignancies, mortality rates for pancreatic cancer have remained stubbornly stable, mainly reflecting the cancer's typically late presentation, ambiguous symptoms and a lack of research. However, scientists have now identified early biomarkers and patient risk factors that should help to detect this increasingly common malignancy while it remains curable.
