Briefly, non-acetolyzed pollen grains were fixed in glutaraldehyde (2.5 %) in 0.1 M sodium cacodylate buffer solution, washed in a sodium cacodylate buffer solution and post-fixed in osmium tetroxide (1 %), potassium ferricyanide (0.8 %), and 5 mM calcium chloride in sodium cacodylate buffer.…”
