Palliative care: epidemiological profile with a biopsychosocial look on oncological patients

Abstract: BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES: Palliative care is a set of practices that encompasses patients with life-threatening diseases which approach is no longer curative, but comforting, including care for the family.
