Abstract

Carbohydrates Carbohydrates U 0500Palladium-Catalyzed Synthesis of Bis-glycosides of But-2-ene-1,4-diol, Butane-1,4-diol, and 1,2,-Bis (propenyl)benzene. -Spacer-linked disaccharides of type (VII), (VIII), (X), and (XI) (15 examples in all) are prepared, which are of interest due to the biological importance of carbohydrates mediating a host of biological responses.
