Paisagem urbana, espaço público e imaginabilidade no eixo monumental da avenida Presidente Vargas, Rio de Janeiro

Abstract: RESUMOEste artigo discorre sobre os espaços públicos livres e edificações representativos na paisagem urbana consolidada ao longo do eixo viário monumental da avenida Presidente Vargas, no Centro da cidade do Rio de Janeiro, abarcando os aspectos históricos de sua construção, os espaços culturais relevantes e de forte impacto imagético na composição atual da paisagem urbana.
