Pain during caesarean section: whose decision is it?

Abstract: likely to be new to readers. This letter reinforces the need for anaesthetists to be familiar with the raw EEG waveforms in order to see beyond the numbers, as highlighted by the Association guidelines [2]. We do this when using ECG and pulse oximetry, therefore it is time we did so for pEEG.
