“…Furthermore, we must consider that overweight adolescents may have underestimated food intake, out of shame or fear of being recriminated, a fact also reported in the literature. (34) However, we highlight the use of a sample that was able to contemplate different social realities, with adolescents from various neighborhoods of the city, downtown and outskirts, as well as the methodological rigor through previous training of the team, with anthropometric data measured directly from the population investigated and the use of validated instruments.
