Pacs: Part Of An Integrated Communications System

Abstract: The Department of Radiology at the University of North Carolina -Chapel Hill (UNC) has developed the concept for an integrated picture archiving and communications system. A communications network has been installed, and computer facilities are being interfaced within radiology areas.
