Packaging of CWDM bidirectional transceiver using robust tuning scheme of thin-film filter

Abstract: Abstract:A coarse wavelength-division multiplexing (CWDM) bidirectional transceiver was demonstrated by tuning transmission band of thin-film filter (TFF) based on the relation between tilted, rotated and ferrule angles of optical fiber. The packaging of the module was designed for keeping the transmission band with spectral bandwidth of 10 nm by adjusting incident angle of the excited light to TFF.
