Abstract: BACKGROUNDGranulomatosis with polyangiitis (GPA) is a form of vasculitis associated with antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies, characterized by granulomatous inflammation and varied degrees of focal necrotizing vasculitis, affecting medium and small blood vessels.
