Pacemaker-associated Right Heart Failure: An Under-recognized Problem

Abstract: Patients presenting with right-sided heart failure represent a clinical challenge with numerous potential etiologies and limited treatment options. This report presents a challenging case involving right-sided heart failure due to persistent tricuspid regurgitation (TR) exacerbated by the placement of a right ventricular (RV) pacing lead after mitral valve repair.
