“…Most previous studies have focused on the impact of the number and proportion of positive lymph nodes on patient survival [25,26]. Usually, LNR is regarded having certain value in predicting the prognosis of ovarian cancer, breast cancer, pancreatic cancer, and other malignancies [27][28][29][30][31][32][33]. In this study, the binary regression curve of the relationship between lymph node examination and survival time strongly suggests that increasing the number of lymph node examinations within a modest range may improve survival time with the same LNR and improve vital status with increased LNR.…”

“…In univariate analysis we found an association of neutrophils for LN metastasis, but in multivariate logistic regression we found no predictive value for neutrophils, monocytes and lymphocytes. Although many studies have reported the predictive value of NLR for LN metastasis [24,25] , a report demonstrates that tumor-associated neutrophils in ltrating the tumor microenvironment, rather than circulating NLR, is an independent prognostic factor for LN metastasis of early GC. This suggests that neutrophils are associated with tumor progression.…”

“…C-RP (c-reactive protein) was detected by immunoturbidimetry ( 16 ). NEUT% (percentage of neutrophils) and LYMPH% (percentage of percentage) were calculated by a calculation method ( 17 ).…”
