Abstract: Introduction Cardiac tamponade (CT) is a clinical syndrome characterized by hemodynamic abnormalities resulting from an increase in pericardial pressure due to accumulation of fluid. Tamponade is one of the cardiac emergencies where urgent management steps are crucial and life saving.
