P1249severe Hemodynamic Instability During Dialysis - Dry, Stunned or Allergic? State of the Art Echocardiography Combined With Simultaneous Lung Ultrasound
Abstract:Background and Aims
Intradialytic hypotension is a fairly common and serious adverse phenomenon. Associated comorbidities include e.g. heart failure, hypovolemia, allergic reactions with the dialysis apparatus and electrolyte disturbancies. Excessive ultrafiltration may explain later onset hypotension, but early-onset hemodynamic collapse remains poorly understood.
Preventive interventions may include incremental dialysis, increasing dry weight, increasing dialysis time and … Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
