Abstract: Background/Aims Analgesics are widely prescribed in patients with inflammatory arthritis (IA) despite limited evidence of efficacy and uncertainties about potential harms. The assessment of harms is complex as some drug-related adverse events (AE), including myocardial infarctions, are part of the IA comorbidity spectrum.
