P013: Unique Cilia Ultrastructure Findings in a 9/11 Rescue Worker

Abstract: equally produced with lips and tongue (pϽ.05). Preimplant, vowels were predominantly produced with tongue placement in the middle of the mouth. Postimplant, vowels were produced with a greater variety of tongue positions. CONCLUSIONS: Increases in vowel and consonant production were evident 12 months postimplant. Increased productions were accompanied by an increase in variety of consonants and vowels.
