Abstract: Background and Aims In CINAC patients from Sri Lanka, we recently observed a sensitive constellation of proximal tubular cell findings including cellular/tubular atrophy, cell fragment shedding and, by electron microscopy (EM), the presence of an increased number of enlarged lysosomes.
