P‐192L: Late‐News Poster: Novel High Voltage Address Driver (Hi‐AD) IC for High Performance PDPs with Single Sustain Drive

Abstract: We fabricated a novel high voltage address driver (Hi‐AD) IC, which is necessary for low loss and low cost single sustain PDPs. By adopting an IGBT for the Hi‐AD IC, the cost of driver circuits can be reduced by 19% compared with a conventional dual sustain system.
