Abstract: Background: Length-Dependent Sensorimotor Peripheral Neuropathy (LDSMPN) affects the longest nerve fi bers in the body. Less well-appreciated, and absent from the current literature, is that LDSMPN affecting thoracic segments gives rise to ventral abdominal sensory loss on clinical exam.
