In this paper, computer simulation was employed to optimize the manufacturing process of the TiCS clad plate. Then the clad plate was inspected and tested with OP, SEM and mechanical properties. The test results show that, the clad plate interface is wavy. And no departure, melted block or other defect was inspected in the interface. Shearing test results showed that the bonding strength is more than 200 MPa. It meets the requirements of the specification. Moreover, after bending, the sample also showed good properties.
