Oxysterols from an octocoral of the genus Gorgonia from the eastern Pacific of Panama

Abstract: Eighteen new oxysterols were isolated from a previously undescribed octocoral of the genusGorgonia. Antimicrobial and antileishmanial properties of these compounds have been evaluated.
