Chief cell‐predominant gastric polyps: a series of 12 cases with literature review

Including our series, there have been 51 cases of chief cell‐predominant gastric polyps documented in the English literature . Based on the limited follow‐up, the behaviour and morphology in the majority of these cases do not warrant labelling all lesions as universally malignant, although there are some with submucosal invasion and ‘desmoplasia’, which raise the possibility of potential aggressive behaviour.…”
