Abstract:Net oxygen productivity in cultures of Monoraphidium minutum, Cryptomonas sp. and Planktothrix agardhii exposed to fluctuating and constant light conditions was measured in a laboratory incubator. The fluctuating light climate simulated a linear up and down movement in a 2 m water column at 4 different ratios of euphotic depth to mixing depth.
