Oxovanadium(V) Complexes With Schiff Base Ligands: Synthesis, Structure, and Catalytic Property

Abstract: The reaction of [VO(acac) 2 ] with N,N'-ethylenebis(3-ethoxysalicylideneimine) (H 2 L 1 ) and N,N'-ethylenebis(3-methylsalicylideneimine) (H 2 L 2 ), respectively, in methanol, affords two new oxovanadium(V) complexes [VOL 1 ]·H 2 O (1) and [VOL 2 ] (2).
