Oxidative stress after antenatal betamethasone: Acute downregulation of glutathione peroxidase-3

Abstract: Antenatal GC elicit a rapid suppression of the GPx3 antioxidant defense system which may contribute to a longer-lasting but also transient rise in lipid oxidative damage.
