Stunting was still a major health problem in Indonesia. Sampang Regency was one of the districts that experienced an increase in the prevalence of Stunting. According to the 2018 Riskesdas data, it shows that one in three babies under two years old (baduta) and babies under five years old (toddlers) in Indonesia are in the stunting category. To prevent stunting, intervention was needed to increase the number of immunization. The aim in this activity was to identify the barrier increasing Universal Coverage Immunization (UCI) to solve immunization problem by Human Centered-Design (HCD) method. The method used is a qualitative method using HCD, which is a method used to explore problems from the community side. This activity was involved by the head of the epidemiology and immunization section, the program holders of the Sampang district health office, coordinating midwives and immunization coordinators at selected health centers regarding immunization program interventions, namely exploring immunization problems from the community. The HCD intervention method has several steps, namely Persona, Journey of Map, Quote, Findings and Suggestions. The results from the intervention was every public health centers known to have a different picture related to portraits of people in the community who are influential in the implementation of the immunization program. This program showed that health was not only the responsibility of government or the health program holders, but everyone. The recommendations from the HCD training at the two public health centers agreed to re-advocate the immunization program to relevant stakeholders.

Low complete basic immunization coverage is still a very difficult problem to deal with. Government programs in an effort to improve the degree of children's health that is before the child is one-year-old basic immunization should be given in full according to his age. In this condition, the immune system is expected to work optimally with the effect caused to a minimum. This devotion aims to increase public knowledge about complete basic immunization so that basic immunization coverage can increase. The methods used are lectures and discussions. The implementation in Kapasa Public Health Center with the number of participants as many as 30 mothers. From the results of the extension, there is an increase in the knowledge and understanding of mothers so that it is expected that this training activity can be carried out in all the work areas of Public Health Center with government support.

“…One of the cities/regencies in Central Java having a decreased coverage of complete basic immunization from 2015-2017 was Pekalongan Regency. In 2015, the complete basic immunization coverage in Pekalongan Regency was 101.8%, but it decreased to 97.8% in 2016 and declined to 88.4% in 2017 [20]. The immunization program aims to provide protection from diseases that can be prevented by immunization (PD3I), such as tuberculosis, diphtheria, tetanus, polio, hepatitis B, and measles [21]; however, in Pekalongan District, cases of measles had been found, as, in 2015, the number of measles cases found was 0 cases, but in 2016, it increased to 171 cases although in 2017 it drops to 7 cases [22].…”
