Abstract: Emerging viral diseases pose significant threats to global health and economies, exemplified by recent epidemics of Ebola and Zika viruses. Rift Valley Fever (RVF), caused by the Rift Valley fever virus (RVFV), is a zoonotic disease primarily affecting domestic ruminants and camels.
