Overuse Injury Risk Increases With Year-Round Sport Participation in Middle School Aged Athletes

Abstract: BACKGROUND: Retrospective studies of high school aged athletes have demonstrated that participating in one sport for more than 8 months of the year is a risk factor for overuse musculoskeletal injuries.
