Abstract:ObjectiveInterictal biomarkers are critical for identifying the epileptogenic focus. However, spikes and ripples lack specificity while fast ripples lack sensitivity. These biomarkers propagate from more epileptogenic onset to areas of spread. The pathophysiological mechanism of these propagations is elusive.
