Overflow proteinuria as a manifestation of unrecognized polymyositis

Abstract: Polymyositis is a rare and gradually progressive autoimmune disease of skeletal muscle. Two main types of renal involvement have been described: acute tubular necrosis related to rhabdomyolysis and glomerulonephritis.
