Over 100 mW Uncooled Operation of SOA-integrated 1.3-µm Highly Reliable CW-DFB Laser

Abstract: We demonstrate the first SOA-integrated CW-DFB laser at 1.3 µm with kink-free and stable single-mode operation over 100 mW at up to 80 ºC. We also achieved reliable operation over 700 hours at 80 ºC.
