Abstract: Background Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a common endocrine condition, affecting approximately one in 10 women. PCOS is defined by two of three features: oligo-or anovulation, clinical or biochemical hyperandrogenism or both, or polycystic ovaries.
