Ovarian Mucinous Carcinoma in a Pediatric Patient With Maroteaux-Lamy Syndrome

Abstract: Mucopolysaccharidoses (MPS) are autosomal recessive lysosomal storage disorder (LSD). Mucinous ovarian cancer is a rare tumor and seldom encounters among adolescents. Here we describe an adolescent female with MPS type VI diagnosed with mucinous ovarian cancer. To our knowledge, this is the first case report of ovarian mucinous carcinoma in a patient with MPS.
