Coalbed methane (CBM) is an important unconventional energy resource, and its micropore structure has a vital impact on its exploitation. Based on the nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) experiment, the low-temperature liquid nitrogen adsorption experiment, and the contact angle experiment, in this paper, we investigated the influence of nanofluids on the micropore structure of a CBM reservoir from many aspects. The influence of different adsorption mechanisms of TiO2 nanoparticles on the surface wettability of rock samples was analyzed. The influence of nanoparticle adsorption on the drainage and distribution of liquid in the rock sample was discussed in depth. In addition, the effects of nanofluid treatment on the micropore structure were investigated by comparing the data of low-temperature liquid nitrogen adsorption experiments, including the pore diameter, pore volume, and specific surface area (SSA). The experimental results show that the treatment of nanofluids helps to open the micropores and greatly increases the SSA, pore diameter, and pore volume of the sample. The maximum increase percentages of SSA, pore volume, and pore diameter are 228.12, 80.65, and 18.89%, respectively. It is found that the adsorption of particles is conducive to enhancing the water wettability of the pore throat surface and reducing the damage to water locks.

In recent years, the oil sector has been at the epicenter of a transformative wave, primarily driven by the integration of big data and analytics. This study embarked on a comprehensive exploration of the evolving dynamics in the oil sector, focusing on the pivotal role that big data analytics plays in reshaping the industry’s operational and strategic frameworks. The research delineated the historical context of supply chain operations, the advent of digital transformation, and the current challenges faced by the oil sector, providing a robust foundation for the analysis of the transformative potential of big data analytics in the industry. The methodology adopted in this study was both robust and comprehensive, encompassing a detailed literature search strategy, well-defined inclusion and exclusion criteria, and a methodical approach to data extraction and synthesis. Experimental Study of the Fracture Network Expansion Mechanism and Three-Dimensional Reconstruction Characteristic of High-Rank Coal in Guizhou Province, China

To better understand the fracture propagation characteristics and spatial distribution pattern of a high-rank coal reservoir during hydraulic fracturing, a true triaxial physical simulation device was used to conduct a hydraulic fracturing experiment on large-sized raw coal from Zhijin, Guizhou Province, China. Computed tomography technology was used to scan the three-dimensional morphology of the fracture network before and after fracturing, then AVIZO software was used to reconstruct the internal fractures of the coal sample, and fractal theory was used to quantify the fractures. The results show that (1) the sudden increase of the pump pressure curve and acoustic emission signal is an important identification feature of hydraulic fractures, and the in situ stress difference coefficient plays a leading role in the complexity of coal and rock fractures. (2) When a hydraulic fracture encounters a primary fracture in the process of expansion, the opening of the primary fracture, the penetration, bifurcation, and turning of the hydraulic fracture are the main reasons for the formation of complex fractures, and the existence of a large number of primary fractures is the basis for the formation of complex fractures. (3) The fracture shape of coal hydraulic fracturing can be divided into three categories: complex fracture, plane fracture + cross fracture, and inverted T-shaped fracture. The fracture shape is closely related to the original fracture shape. The research results of this paper provide strong theoretical and technical support for coalbed methane mining design such as Zhijin high-rank coal reservoirs.
