“…Birth weight represents the most important risk indicator for neonatal and infant mortality and morbidity [22]. An accurate EFW is valuable information for planning the mode of delivery and management of labor, especially in diabetic pregnancies with a higher incidence of fetal macrosomia, since fetal macrosomia is associated with shoulder dystocia, brachial plexus injury, clavicular fracture, maternal birth trauma and cesarean section [23][24][25].
