Outcomes of observation without empiric intravenous antibiotics in febrile, nonneutropenic pediatric oncology patients

Abstract: There are no consensus guidelines for management of pediatric oncology patients presenting with fever and nonneutropenia, with limited research into the outcomes of withholding empiric i.v. antibiotics.
