Outcomes of an extended-infusion piperacillin-tazobactam protocol implementation in a community teaching hospital adult intensive care unit

Abstract: This study showed that treatment with extended-infusion piperacillin-tazobactam therapy improved patient outcomes while maintaining patient safety and decreasing costs.
