Abstract:Background: In some large to massive rotator cuff tears (RCTs), fatty degeneration (FD) is more severe in the infraspinatus than the supraspinatus muscle, and in such cases, suprascapular neuropathy is highly suspected. Nerve release at the suprascapular notch might alleviate this problem.
