“…Combining the responses of each healthcare worker of a ward for each factor offers an overview of the ward's patient participation culture, as a culture is tended to be manifested in the behaviors and beliefs of their members (Brown, 1998). As proven for continuous quality improvement (Hamilton et al, 2014), patient-centered care (Abdelhadi and Drach-Zahavy, 2012) and service improvement (Wood et al, 2015), the culture on a ward is essential in change management.
