Abstract: Xanthogranulomatous inflammation is an uncommon chronic inflammatory disease that develops most often in the kidneys and gallbladder. However, xanthogranulomatous appendicitis 45eXA is rare. Herein, we present a case of XA, with an elevated tumor marker, misdiagnosed as cecal cancer.
