Osteoid osteomas of the hip: a well-recognized entity with a proclivity for misdiagnosis

Abstract: Objectives The diagnosis of osteoid osteomas (OO) about the hip can be challenging as presenting symptoms can mimic other, more common, periarticular pathologies.
