Abstract:Osteoporosis could potentially complicate oral implant treatment because of disease-specifi c characteristics such as the abnormal bone condition, poor healing ability caused by bisphosphonates (BPs), and bisphosphonate-related osteonecrosis of the jaw (BRONJ).
