Abstract:Tuberculosis (TB) remains endemic in South Africa. The spine, hip, and knee joints are common extra-pulmonary TB sites. Sound history taking, clinical examination, and basic laboratory and pathological tests remain key important steps in osteoarticular TB diagnosis.
