“…This tumor has also been reported in the mandible and maxilla of the young adult (Hiranandani et al 1980;Marvin et al 1958;Montgomery, 1927;Schwarz et al 1964;Sherman et al 1948;Smith et al 1952). However, on rare occasions, it may appear to be circumscribed solely to parts of the cranial vault such as the frontal (Hiranandani et al 1966;Thomas et al 1966), temporal (Kuratsu et al 1985), parietal (Feiring et al 1957;Shishido et al 1982;Takeuchi et al 1962), and occipital bones (Yamashita et al 1977). There are only 9 previously reported cases involving the cranial vault alone.…”
