Orthogonal Spectral Coding of Entangled Photons

Abstract: We extend orthogonal optical coding, previously applied to multiuser classical communication networks, to entangled photons. Using a pulse shaper and sum-frequency generation for ultrafast coincidence detection, we demonstrate encoding and decoding of biphoton wave packets.
