Abstract

A fifteen-month-old child with congestive heart failure since the age of three months, treated with furosemide, captopril, and digoxin. Electrocardiogram: sinus rhythm; HR: 130 bpm; right axis deviation: > 90 degrees; diffuse changes in ventricular repolarization. Fig. 1-Aortography in the left anterior oblique (LAO) projection: the right coronary artery arises from the right coronary sinus, with retrograde opacification of the left coronary artery up to the pulmonary trunk. The blind end of the left coronary sinus can also be noted. Angiographic diagnosis: anomalous origin of the left coronary artery.
