“…Otros elementos tóxicos como Pb, Hg y Cd se encontraron dentro de los rangos considerados de referencia, a niveles que sugieren una contaminación baja a moderada (Duarte et al, 2012). Por otro lado, si bien en el año 2008 se produjo la prohibición mundial del uso de pinturas "antifouling" a base de tributilestaño (TBT) (IMO, 2002), Delucchi et al (2011) informaron a lo largo de la costa argentina, niveles que van desde no detectables hasta 350 ng (Sn)/g en sedimentos, con una alta incidencia de imposex en los principales puertos pesqueros de la Patagonia (Commendatore et al, 2015).
