Organosoluble Copper Clusters as Precatalysts for Carbon—Heteroelement Bond‐Forming Reactions: Microwave and Conventional Heating.

Abstract: Phenol ethers Q 0270 Organosoluble Copper Clusters as Precatalysts for Carbon-HeteroelementBond-Forming Reactions: Microwave and Conventional Heating. -The Cu cluster shown in the scheme is found to be an efficient catalyst for the coupling of aryl iodides with tetrahydrofurfuryl alcohol and simple alcohols. The reaction can be carried out using microwave and conventional heating giving similar yields. -(MANBECK, G. F.; LIPMAN, A. J.; STOCKLAND*, R. A. J.; FREIDL, A. L.; HASLER, A. F.; STONE, J.
