Abstract:Organophosphate pesticides are known to inhibit acetylcholine esterase, an enzyme that degrades acetylcholine at the cholinergic synapse. In this study zebrafish were used to understand the impact chlorpyrifos, dichlorvos, and diazanon on vertebrate developmental physiology.
