Abstract:Facile synthesis of sulfur-containing polymers from renewable chemicals or the waste of petrochemical resources remains a grand challenge. Here, we report organocatalytic alternating copolymerization of carbonyl sulfide (COS) and D-xylose oxetane (XO) to produce poly(thiocarbonate).
